Our names are Tyson and Danica. First, we would like to commend you on your bravery in considering adoption for your child. Even if you do not read another paragraph, we want you to know that you are a good parent. We imagine that you have many tough decisions ahead of you and hope that as you look through our profile you feel we are the right match for your baby.

We chose to adopt after several years of attempting to become pregnant on our own and with the aid a fertility specialist. We underwent several rounds of infertility procedures without success. That process only reinforced our desire to become parents.

About us

We both grew up in the same small town and attended high school together. We were not high school sweethearts and if you ask us both, we had no clue that we would wind up spending our lives together. Several years after graduation, we crossed paths again and after developing a relationship through mutual friends the rest is history. 

We share many of the same values and interests. We dated for five years and have been happily married for six. Infertility and treatment to try to conceive a child has strengthened our bond and love for each other.

Meet our PUPS

We are the proud parents of two Saint Bernards, Harlow and Gus.  Although they are massive in size, they are very sweet and affectionate. 

Both dogs have been exposed to children throughout their lives and are gentle giants.

Our home and loved ones

We chose to continue our roots in the town we grew up in. Shortly after getting married, Tyson built our dream home. It is very spacious with a large, fenced in back yard. 

We live in a rural community of approximately 8,000 people and consider our town to be a great place to raise a child. We live in a growing neighborhood with many small children.Our community offers lots of activities for families and we cannot wait to enjoy them as ours grows.

We are both lucky to have close relationships with our families. Although Tyson’s parents live several hours away, we make it a priority to visit each other often. Danica’s parents live only a mile away and we get together often (but she speaks to them nearly every day). Danica’s parent’s have shown their eagerness to be grandparents and visit her brother’s family often to see her nephew.

Holidays in our household may be a day early or late due to Tyson’s job with the railroad, but each holiday is important and celebrated with family.

A special note about adoption

We would like to consider a semi-open adoption with clear boundaries established by both the adoptive and birth parents.   

We intend to raise our child to be kind, generous and have a strong sense of family.

Education is also important; however, we wish for our child to do something that not only provides them with stability, but also that also makes them proud.

What we love to do for fun!

Although we are both hard working, we like to have a good time! We have continued the tradition of yearly lake vacations and try to spend as much time as possible on the water each summer. Tyson shows off his skills on the wake-board and Danica spends her time floating and basking in the sun. We include family and friends whenever possible on our trips.

When the weather won’t permit time on the lake, we like to have friends and family over to grill or play cards. Although we love our friends and family, we don’t mind being homebodies and in the company of each other with our furbabies and a good movie.
