I am grateful to you for considering adoption, and I thank you so much for taking the time to learn about who I am, my life, and what I can provide as a parent to your child. I know that you have your child’s best interest at heart, and I will always do the same.

Although I am single and do not have children yet, I am blessed to have an amazing family and group of friends who support me in all that I do, especially the decision to adopt and raise a child. Through trials and tribulations, I tried many times to conceive to no avail. I have wanted children since I can remember. As a child, when anyone asked what I wanted to be when I grew up my response was always a mother.

I will bring with me an open heart, happy smiles, and lots of laughter. I will be there through all the little losses and the big wins! I am ready, and so excited to share my life with such a HUGE blessing!!

About Me

I am an outgoing and silly person when I am with my family and friends. People say I am very witty, which I take as a compliment. I have what could be considered a southern accent even though I am from the Midwest, which adds to people’s laughter. I am extremely thoughtful and believe in helping others as much as I can.

My family, friends, and colleagues see me as a leader and a nurturer. I am goal-orientated and very organized. I also am sensitive and compassionate! I like to believe I am a down-to-earth person. I believe in working hard, being good to people, and try to be thankful for all that I have.

What makes me Happy

• Autumn- The color of the leaves, temperature, outdoor sports, grilling, cozying up with a good book, enjoying a good movie, or building a campfire.

• My Family- They make me smile, laugh, feel safe, feel loved, feel supported, and feel special.

• Kind People- Being a good person to people. Giving a smile, lending a hand, sharing a laugh, an ear to listen…

• Sweet Babies- Cuddly, soft, chubby, cooing, smiling, crying… makes me happy

• Teaching- Helping little ones learn and grow makes my heart warm.

The people I love and where I live

Family means EVERYTHING to me!! I have such an awesome, and tight-knit family! My parents have been married for over 45 years!! They live within five minutes of me, and they are the heart of our family. They are always there for me and my siblings. They are also very active and involved with their grandchildren!!

I have a home plenty big for a family, yet cozy and quaint!! My home is very warm and welcoming! It has space to relax and have fun in. There is also a nice yard to play in. There is plenty of safe space to ride bikes, too. My parents, grandmother, brother and his small children, as well as my extended relatives all live within close proximity. There will be lots of love surrounding your child!

I love Christmas when all of my family gets together for food, games, football, and fun!!

What I love to do for fun

• The Outdoors- I enjoy taking a walk on a trail or at the park, playing sports in the yard, riding bikes, or just sitting on the porch and visiting.

• Baking- I like to try different recipes. I also enjoy sampling it while I am making it!

• Relaxing- I like to watch a good movie, or read a good book all cozied up!

• Exercising- I love breaking a sweat!! It can be outside or at the gym, I enjoy a good workout.

• Decorating- I enjoy Interior Design! I love to spruce things up!
